1863 painter copyist at the Louvre museum - 1864 first painting done outside the studio, Workshop with Frédéric Bazille - In Spring 1863, become a copyist at the Louvre museum, Monet paints at Barbizon - Mid-May 1864, Monet returns to Honfleur in the company of Bazille - at the end of 1864, Claude settles with Bazille in a workshop in Paris - two canvases from the estuary of the Seine ( Honfleur ) seen at the 1865 salon - "La Pointe de la Hève" and " Embouchure de la Seine " .

Trips to London (1899-1904) - The series 'Views of the Thames in London' (1900 to 1904) was exhibited in May and June 1904 and constitutes the greatest triumph of his career. He is at the height of his creativity and technicality - 1900 – PARIS UNIVERSAL EXHIBITION
The supremacy of his art recognized by the nation - 1900 - The Water Lilies - He paints in 1901 Leicester Square, at night - 1902 - their last children leave the family fold; 1904 - Monet takes his wife, in 1904, to Madrid, then to Toledo - 1904 - Monet exhibits at Durand-Street 37 views of the Thames . . .

MONET from 1910 to 1919
__________________
1912 - Operation Cataracte and 'great decorations' - he exhibits twenty-nine at the Bernheim gallery, from May 28 to June 8, 1912. In 1914, he suffered the pain of losing his son Jean as a result of a long illness. 1914 – The NYMPHEAS and the friendship of the journalist CLEMENCEAU - In November 1918, he offered Clemenceau two decorative panels that he signed on the 11th, the day of the armistice and the end of the First World War. It is, according to the painter, the only way he had to take part in the victory - In November 1919, Clemenceau advised him to have his eyes operated on - In December of that same year Death of Pierre-Auguste Renoir.

MONET from 1920 to 1926

DEATH OF MONET (December 5, 1926) - Monet contracted a lung infection which nailed him to bed in 1926. Suffering from lung cancer, he dies on December 5 around one o'clock in the afternoon.
Funeral, the magnificent gesture of the journalist CLEMENCEAU who drapes his coffin with a colored cloth instead of the black mortuary sheet and says:
- " MONET must be buried with color! "
